Humana joins the Waste Cluster of Catalonia

Humana Fundación Pueblo para Pueblo reinforces its active presence in the territory by joining the Waste Cluster of Catalonia. The Foundation is a member of the Pacte per a la Moda Circular and the Association of Reuse Centers and Services of Catalonia.
The Waste Cluster arises with the purpose of bringing together companies and agents around the entire value chain of the waste sector. This implies going from the generation of waste, through its management (collection, classification, treatment and
valorization) and reaching the end of the product life cycle or the end customer of the secondary raw material. The main objective is to improve the competitiveness of the sector and turn it into an international benchmark.
Humana joins the Cluster to reinforce its objectives and contribute its experience as a textile waste manager with 37 years of experience in Catalonia, where the entity was born and is located.
The Cluster has the support of the Generalitat of Catalonia through the Catalanonian Waste Agency and other government agencies.
It is made up of more than 40 entities representing the entire value chain of the different fractions. It has five fundamental pillars of action:
