Humana wants to express its support to the people affected by the DANA

All our support and condolences to the people affected by the humanitarian catastrophe that is being experienced in the Valencian Community and other areas of Spain, as a result of the DANA.
Our team, their families and friends, from the Torrent transfer plant, in Valencia, are well. At this time we remain very attentive to the evolution of the DANA in Catalonia.
In fact, yesterday our plant in Ametlla del Vallés, in the province of Barcelona, was suspended. The collection routes from yesterday afternoon were also cancelled.
All of this as a precaution and in accordance with the recommendations of the authorities.
Today the Foundation's activity in Catalonia must return to normal.
Our team is currently evaluating and finalizing several actions to support those affected by the DANA, which will soon be underway.
What happened is further proof of the horrible consequences of climate change. A terrible lesson that we must learn. A terrible lesson that encourages us to redouble the work we have been doing for years helping the most disadvantaged communities to adapt to the effects of global warming.
