Humana Integra, first goals fulfilled

Humana Integra is the company's socio-labor insertion company. Its objective is to be a bridge between people with difficulties to access the labor market and entities and / or companies that offer opportunities in the sector of waste management and the green economy.

Joan Carrió, Humana Integra Coordinator, offers a brief summary of these initial months of work of Humana Integra: "we have covered a first stage that has consisted in the establishment of a network of contacts with Social Services of City Councils and District Boards. Thanks to this network, several people have already started to individualized insertion itineraries and the result is being positive ".

According to Joan, "little by little they have been integrated into the dynamics of the Foundation, both in the area of ??Stores and in the Department of Preparation for Reuse. In general, they are successfully completing each of the stages of the itineraries ". At the same time, Humana Integra has contacted several companies and entities seeking employment, dedicated to the green economy, in order to facilitate the incorporation into the labor market. "We are laying the foundations of a very exciting project that fits perfectly with our will as a Foundation to contribute to the fight against poverty."

Quality employment

The generation of quality employment is one of the fundamental aspects of the social and economic development of any country. Especially in contexts of great complexity such as the current one, with a high unemployment rate, around 16%.
The creation of jobs must be accompanied by initiatives that favor the social and labor integration of groups at risk of social exclusion, given that employment is fundamental for the development of a dignified, autonomous and independent model of life.
