Today the Foundation's 50th store is opening: it is located in Madrid, at number 78 of the popular Embajadores Street, in the south of the city.

The store has 170 square meters of commercial space where it is possible to purchase a selection of 5,000 second hand garments, shoes and accessories.

Last year, 2.4 million people bought a total of 6.2 million garments and accessories at the Foundation's stores.

Seven out of ten customers say that when buying a garment in Humana stores they do not need to buy it at another conventional point of sale.

This replacement rate of 70% confirms the environmental value of reuse and the promotion of the prevention of textile waste and the circular economy. All this within the framework of the social economy.

At the same time, second-hand fashion has gone from being 'clothing for people with limited resources', to being a manifestation of sustainable fashion at affordable prices with a clear differentiation component compared to the 'fast fashion' offer.

Taking into account, in addition, that the most sustainable garment is the one already manufactured.
