MULTISECTORAL, SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIAL ECONOMY




The added value that Humana brings to the management of used textiles is the capacity to generate resources that are destined to social programmes, both in Spain and in Africa, Latin America and Asia.

The reality of the communities in the South in which the Foundation works requires wide-ranging initiatives that act simultaneously on education, agriculture, health conditions and human rights, always with the aim of favouring their sustainable development and empowerment.

In order to achieve these objectives, it is necessary that the driving force behind these projects comes from these same groups; people are essential for success.

Our development cooperation programmes are carried out in the following areas:

Each year, Humana develops projects both with its own funds and with funds from grants and public and private donations in more than a dozen countries. These projects involve more than 100,000 people annually and are carried out within the framework of the SDG Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
